hi folks,
the Sanctuary shift schedule is posted on the wiki here.
Remember everyone has committed to at least two shifts (and no more than 3 shifts - we want you to have time for fun!). One of these shifts will be at a good time and one of these will likely be at one of the less charming times.
Please post in this forum and include the following information:
The Shambhala folks are even more super organised this year and all volunteer stuff is being handled online through their staff and volunteer management website.
If you want to volunteer for the Sanctuary harm reduction and safe space then you need to fill out the special online volunteer application available here, which will then come to us for review. DO NOT FILL OUT THE REGULAR SHAMBHALA VOLUNTEER APPLICATION - use the special one linked here only. Thanks.
Welcome to the MindBodyLove Portal!
We have just upgraded Drupal and so the site is being reconfigured - all of you who have signed up as members were transferred over to the new site. Please be patient and we will have the modules reconfigured very soon.
I just wanted to say Thank you to all the wonderful Shambhala Sanctuary Volunteers! Shambhala is an intense experience for all and we as a group made the ride that much easier for many. Many of us (if not most) were reminded of our boundaries, and learned from our efforts. Thank you for being real and providing such a down to earth environment in such flying, flipping, floating party. A big thank you to First Aid and Security for being so awesome. And of course, love and thanks to Warren for all his hard work, dedication, clear direction, and support.
anybody heading up to shambhala early this week? I'm looking for a ride and would like to leave Vancouver late Tuesday. My number is 604.782.1684. or email at mike.varma@gmail.com cheers.
Tim Wisdom has space in his van for a few people heading up to Shambhala.
Tim ideally would like to leave on Monday, camp somewhere overnight and arrive at Shambhala on Tuesday. For returning he would like to leave Monday, camp overnight on the way and arrive in Vancouver on Tuesday. He can be a little bit flexible if that is what folks need. All he asks is that you contribute gas money.
If you are interested then please email Tim directly at timothy@timothywisdom.com or call him on his cell at 778-772-3886.
